Common Questions:

Price?

There are few newborn packages, with a variety of photos and the possibility of family shots. Please check the website for more information about packages and prices.

When should you book a newborn session?

During your pregnancy, in the second trimester. When you book a newborn session, you are guaranteeing a photography date in my calendar. Your due date will be your provisional session date, so that we can be sure that you are on my calendar for that month. Your actual session date will be confirmed once your baby arrives. My monthly calendar fills up quickly, but last minute bookings are welcome when I have time available.

When should newborn pictures be taken?

The best time for newborn sessions is when the baby is between 5 and 12 days old to help ensure a sleepy, curly baby.

Where is the photo session taking place?

Newborn sessions are taking place in the studio or customer’s home. Photo session time is usually between 2-3 hours if you follow my tips for a successful newborn session.

How to prepare for a newborn session?

Please keep your baby awake before the session as much as possible (two hours is best) and feed your little bundle 15 min before the session. Feel free to come a little early to the studio to feed the baby right before the session. The studio will be warm. Babies like being warm. Please leave your baby with a diaper on and make your home warm like 78’ - 80’ degrees for in-home newborn sessions. During the session, I may need to use a pacifier, your little one is not going to get addicted to it.

Can I choose the props?

Yes, I take into account the wishes of parents. I provide all newborn props for the session.

Will we be able to do all of the poses that I see on internet?

Not every baby will do every pose. It depends on their age, mood, health, etc. They have their own personality and baby’s safety and comfort is my first priority.

What if the baby has colic, rash, jaundice, spots, peeling, "didn't the peg fall off"?

All of these is NOT an obstacle to photo session.

When will the photos be ready?

Within 3 weeks.
